2007 Volunteer of the Year - Odegaard Family

This year’s award goes to the very deserving Odegaard family. Doug and Judy, along with their daughter, Alysa, a junior at BHS, and son, Brady, an 8th grader at MMS, are the type of people that always pitch in and help. They are the bread and butter of our organization, and without people like them, we would not have a community theatre. Doug and Judy are usually found with a paintbrush, hammer, or program in hand, as they have helped with many of our sets and volunteered to usher for most of the BCT’s shows.
Brady has often been seen on stage at 1st Lutheran Church, and often volunteers to help build sets and usher for the BCT. Alysa has appeared on the BCT stage numerous times in such productions as Annie Get Your Gun, Tom Sawyer, and Little Women. She also dances with the Expanding Harmony troupe in Brookings. 
The Odegaard family supports the arts by volunteering on both sides of the curtain. The BCT Board of Directors is proud to honor them with this award!
